Skies
James’ parents were keen glider pilots and from a young age he spent most weekends watching the sky, waiting for them to appear from the clouds. Weather was a family preoccupation. James himself flew gliders as a teenager and took up paragliding later on. His paintings of skies reflect this deep-rooted knowledge and passion.
All paintings illustrated are egg tempera on gesso coated panels unless otherwise indicated.
